Will you JOIN UP! in 2007?

Over the last two years, thousands of schools and millions of pupils have taken part in the Send My Friend campaign and because of what you've done some governments, including the UK, are doing more.
 
This has meant 20 million children have started school! But things are still moving too slowly. There are still 80 million children who miss out on school because of poverty.

And that's why we need you to JOIN UP! in the world's longest chain.

We need to remind world leaders of their promise of education for all children!  You can do this by being part of the world's longest chain. You will need to make a part of the chain and send it to the German Chancellor, Angela Merkel.

Education is a human right - and one of the most effective routes out of poverty - yet more than 100 million children in the world receive no education. Two thirds of them are girls.
