Hi.  My holiday is great in Scotland.  I got this postcard, it is a picture of an outdoor ice rink on frozen ice.  I don't know much about curling but the granite stones are from Scotland and two people brush the tracks to melt the ice before the stones go down.  The closest to the tee wins.
Malcolm, age 10 Scotland

Hello my name is Kiran Virdi and I go to Grestome primary school.  I am in year 3 and my favourite game is Chinese checkers and my favourite sports are football and tennis and I am a girl.
Kiran, Birmingham, England

My favourite sport is basketball because sport is fun and basketball is the best.  I usually play basketball at school break time with my friends because out of school there aren't any facilities near by.  I play basketball so I can stay fit and do other activities.
Fortese, age 10 Paddington, England

My name is Mohammad.  I am 15 years old.  I live in Ramallah, Palestine.  I like sport so much - my favourite is basketball.  Sometimes we can't play basketball.  In these days the area is quieter than the past.  I hope you like this letter and I send my greetings.
Palestine

I have drawn a sports man running in a baton race.
James, age 11 Sierra Leone

In sports in England football is the most common sport.  My best player is Saha from Manchester United.  Also David Beckham is very important because he did a big strike.
