Westfields shopping centres across the UK are taking part in a Reading Rocks 08 - a programme of reading, writing and literacy activities for local children.

As well as writing workshops, competitions and events, run in collaboration with HarperCollins, children are also being asked to donate their favourite children's books to Book Aid International. Visitors to centres in Nottingham, Derby, Brierly Hill, Tunbridge Wells and Guildford are all taking part and are well on their way to collecting thousands of books for children in some of the poorest countries in the world.
